2. Hosting (Cloudflare)

This website runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database, CDN). Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time, browser information) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and bound by a data processing agreement.

3. Waitlist and double opt-in

When you join the waitlist we store your e-mail address, language, the time and version of your consent, the time of confirmation and – if present – campaign parameters (UTM), the referring website and the country of access (from Cloudflare; your IP address is not stored). You only join the list after clicking the link in our confirmation e-mail. Purpose: informing you about the launch of the Caytonia Phone and the Kickstarter campaign. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after [30] days.

4. E-mail delivery (Resend)

E-mails are sent via Resend (USA) under a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the sign-up form from bots (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We measure anonymous visitor numbers with Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no personal profiles (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hello@caytonia.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
